Celebrating 30 years of National Veterinary Technician Week
National Veterinary Technician Week (NVTW) is an annual celebration dedicated to honoring and recognizing the indispensable contributions of Credentialed Veterinary Technicians to the veterinary profession and society. Since its inception in 1993, this week has served as a vital platform for educating the public about the essential role these professionals play in modern veterinary medicine. In 2023, NVTW marks its 30th anniversary, and to commemorate this milestone, the National Association of Veterinary Technicians in America (NAVTA) has curated a collection of “Pearls of Wisdom” from seasoned veterans of the field.

As pearls are traditionally associated with 30th anniversaries, it’s only fitting that NAVTA presents “pearls of wisdom” from experienced Credentialed Veterinary Technicians. These words of insight and encouragement are meant to inspire and guide the next generation of veterinary technicians.
